“Lincoln Lightfoot is a well established artist that has built up an excellent reputation across North Yorkshire. Lightfoot’s artwork explores surreal concepts based in well known locations reminiscent of 1950’s-60s B-Movie Poster Art. Through the consumption of Art, we can deal with nightmares. As children we confront and make sense of a dangerous world through stories and rhymes and wish to be taught of danger through anecdote and myth. Lightfoot taps into the present condition of fear that our news media and politicians perpetuate in a post Covid-19 world.”
